From the Cruelty of Reality to the Romance of Ideal——A Discussion on the Evolution of the Story of Li Longji and Yang Yuhuan after Song Dynasty

李隆基和杨玉环的故事流传多年,在不同的时代与不同的版本中,有着不一样的描述。它们因作者不同,展现出侧重点也有所不同。该文主要探讨比较的就是关于两人的故事在宋代乐史《杨太真外传》、元白朴《唐明皇秋夜梧桐雨》、清洪昇《长生殿》以及当代戏曲舞台上《杨贵妃后传》、《太真外传》中的不同描绘。

The story of Li Longji and Yang Yuhuan has been spreading for many years. However, the descriptions are not the same in different eras and versions, and different authors had different focus. This paper aims to investigate and compare the different descriptions of the story shown in the following works: Legend of Yang Taizhen, by Le Shi, Song dynasty;Rain on the Phoenix Trees, by Bai Pu, Yuan dynasty;Palace of Eternal Youth, by Hong Sheng, Qing dynasty, and contemporary operas Sequel of Concubine Yang and Unauthorized biography of Taizhen.
