论严复《社会通诠》中译本的诗学操纵

A Research on YAN Fu's Poetic Manipulation Strategy Taking Chinese Translation of A History of Politics as an Example

本文试图从诗学视角出发,解读严复在《社会通诠》中译本中的改写活动。通过对语料的分析,解释在特定文化语境下,严复通过引经据典、自造新词和以字释义等典型的翻译诗学操纵形式达到韵律美、节奏美和内容美的创作目的,助其进行政治思想输出。

From the perspective of poetics, this paper aims at interpreting Yan Fu’s rewriting strategy in his translation of A History of Politics. Based on the analysis of linguistic data, the paper is attempted to explain how Yan Fu realized his creation intentions of beautiful rhyme, tempo and content in translation as well as promoting political thoughts under a certain cultural context through the typical translation forms of poetic manipulation such as citing classics, creating new phrases, and explaining the meaning with words.
