当代中国关键词英译与对外话语体系建设研究

Research on English Translation of Chinese Keywords and Construction of China's International Discourse System

"中国关键词"旨在向国际社会解读、阐释当代中国发展理念、发展道路、内外政策、思想文化核心话语。显然,中国关键词的英译处理是构建中国对外话语体系有效方式之一。本文拟以细致的文本研读方式,分析和梳理《中国关键词》中关键词英译处理方式,以具体的例证和分析,总结其中四大关键词英译处理方式,如仿写西方、中国特写、中西杂糅以及灵活变译等,旨在探讨中国关键词英译的合理方式,构建有效的对外话语体系,展现文化自信,讲好中国故事,传播中国声音。

"Chinese keywords" are intended to interpret contemporary China’s development philosophy, development path, internal and external policies, and core discourse of ideology and culture. As a result, translating Chinese keywords into English is regarded as one of the effective ways to construct China’s international discourse system. This paper, with detailed text reading, analyzes and summarizes the English translating techniques of keywords in Keywords to Understand China to explore proper construction of Chinese discourse system. With specific examples and analysis, four keywords translating techniques are summed up, such as Imitation Writing, Chinese Features, Chinese and Western Mixing, and Flexible Interpretation, with a hope to build an effective international discourse system to showcase Chinese cultural confidence, Chinese story and Chinese voice.
