Urban Rights in the Process of New Urbanization——Based on the Perspective of David Harvey's Space Theory

新型城镇化的快速发展,为我国经济的腾飞做出了巨大的贡献,同时也凸显出一些问题:城市公共基础设施和公共医疗服务等发展不平衡不全面,城镇居民城市权利被忽视被削弱。为了促进我国新型城镇化健康与全面的发展,我们有必要做深入的分析与探究。文章借鉴大卫·哈维的空间理论中关于城市空间问题的总结以及如何帮助居民争取城市权利的方法,并结合我国城镇化过程中具体的本土化问题,探索解决新型城镇化进程中的城市权利问题。

New urbanization has developed rapidly in China, making great contributions to China's economic take-off. However, some problems arise including unbalancing and incomplete development of public infrastructure and public medical services, the neglected and weakened rights for the urban residents. In order to promote the healthy and comprehensive development of new urbanization, we need to do in-depth analysis and exploration. Based on the space theory of David Harvey, the paper aims to analyze Harvey's summery of urban space issues and the way to help the residents obtaining urban rights as well. In addition, it explores the solutions to the problem of urban rights, according to the specific localization problems in the process of urbanization in China.
