右拇指甲下鳞状细胞癌

A case of subungual squamous cell carcinoma on the right thumb

报告1例右拇指甲下鳞状细胞癌。患者男,80岁。右手拇指疼痛并逐渐出现指甲变形、增厚及发黄1年。皮肤科检查:右手拇指指甲远端及外侧缘甲剥离,叠层状碎裂,指甲及手指皮肤稍增厚发黄,甲板下境界清楚的黄棕色红色肿物。甲下组织病理检查:鳞状上皮增生,向真皮呈浸润性生长,细胞排列紊乱有异形,可见核分裂像。诊断:甲下鳞状细胞癌。

A case of subungual squamous cell carcinoma on the right thumb is reported. An eighty-year-old boy complained of his right thumb pain and gradual development of nail deformation, thickening and yellowing nail for one year.Physical examination showed onycholysis and nail lamellar fragmentation on the distal and lateral nail plate along with thickened nail and skin on the right thumb. Well demarcated subungual neoplasia in yellow-brown-red color was also present on the right thumb. Histopathological examination revealed the proliferation of disorganized squamous epithelial cells toward the dermis, with atypia and mitosis. The diagnosis was subungual squamous cell carcinoma.
