The article summarizes the current situation of rehabilitation therapy and its professional talents cultivation in developed countries, analyzes the progress and challenges of rehabilitation therapy development in China. It states the exploration of training pathway and practice conducted by some universities in China. At the same time, it is suggested that the system of talent training system should be further improved, the pace of international integration should be quickened, the construction of teaching staff should be strengthened, and the system of professional development should be perfected so as to promote the development of postgraduate education in rehabilitation therapy.
