学术期刊编辑开展编辑出版研究的调查分析

An analysis of editing and publishing research conducted by academic journal editors

【目的】提升学术期刊编辑开展编辑出版研究的能力,促使更多期刊编辑开展高水平的编辑出版研究,助推学术期刊的科学发展。【方法】检索2015—2017年期刊编辑发表的编辑出版研究论文2599篇,利用文献计量和内容分析的方法对发文量、载文期刊、核心发文作者、核心发文机构及研究热点进行分析。【结果】期刊编辑的发文量逐年下降,核心期刊尤为明显;核心研究机构集中于高校;核心研究人员多处于合作网络中,跨机构合作网络稀疏;研究热点主要集中于期刊影响力提升、学术质量控制及办刊队伍建设,较少关注编校规范等微观层面的研究。【结论】期刊编辑开展编辑出版研究的水平有待提升,研究人员的规模亟待扩大。应从行业组织、出版单位、编辑个人等层面采取措施,提升期刊编辑开展编辑出版研究的能力,增强编辑深度融入学术出版的自信,以促进学术期刊的科学发展。

[Purposes] The paper aims to improve the research ability of academic journal editors and encourage more editors to conduct higher-level editing and publishing research,so as to promote the scientific development of academic journals.[Methods]The study retrieved 2599 editing and publishing papers written by academic journal editors(targeted papers for short) from 2015 to2017,and then analyzed their total number,publishing journals,core authors,core publishing institutions,and hot topics by bibliometric methods and content analysis.[Findings] The total number of targeted papers is declining year by year,especially papers on the core journals. Most institutions of targeted papers are universities. Core authors always collaborate with other authors,but they are always attach to the same institution. Hot topics focus on the improvement of journal influence,academic quality control,and training of editors,while less attention is paid to micro-aspects such as editing standards.[Conclusions]The level and scale of editing and publishing research conducted by academic journal editors needs to be improved. We need to take measures from many subjects,such as industry organization,publishers,and editors,to improve the ability of editors,enhance their confidence in integrating into academic publishing,and promote the scientific development of academic journals.
