Cognition and attitude of Chinese sports researchers on academic misconduct and management strategy of sports academic journals

【目的】研究体育科研人员对学术不端行为的认知和态度,以及体育学术期刊及编辑的相应作为,提出体育学术期刊的治理策略。【方法】采用问卷调查法,通过"问卷星"在线调查平台发布问卷。【结果】体育科研人员认为竞争压力、与同事之间的利益冲突、科研诚信环境缺失、学术评价制度不合理是产生学术不端行为的主要外部因素;而对学术规范缺乏了解、缺乏科研诚信是导致体育科研人员涉足学术不端的主要内部因素。【结论】体育科研人员对学术不端行为总体上持零容忍的态度,但在学术研究中却有意或无意地涉入其中。作为学术规范的制定者和学术把关者,体育学术期刊编辑应对他们进行学术规范指导和学术诚信教育,建立起顺畅、高效的审稿与反馈机制,及时更新与升级学术不端检测软件,帮助科研人员避免学术不端行为。

[Purposes] This paper aims to investigate the cognition and attitude of sports researchers on academic misconduct and the corresponding deeds of sport journal editors,and put forward the management strategy of sports academic journals.[Methods]With questionnaire investigation,questionnaires were issued by wenjuan. com.[Findings] Competition pressure,conflict of interest,absence of research integrity,and unreasonable academic evaluation system are the main external influence factors for academic misconduct,while the lack of understanding of academic norms and research integrity is internal factors that make sports researchers to get involved in academic misconduct.[Conclusions] Sports researchers generally have a zero-tolerance attitude toward academic misconduct,but they are involved in academic research either intentionally or unintentionally. As the makers of academic norms and academic gatekeepers,editors of sports academic journals should conduct academic normative guidance and academic integrity education,establish a smooth and efficient reviewand feedback mechanism,update and upgrade academic misconduct detection software in time,and help researchers avoid academic misconduct.
