摘要
The assemblage of benthic foraminifera and its geochemical components were regarded as an important indicator of ancient cold methane seepage. The study analyzed the benthic foraminiferal fauna of 4 surface sediments with carbonate nodules in the southwestern area off the Dongsha Islands, South China Sea, China, In the northern SCS, cold seep foraminifera community has high content of hyaline shell and low content of agglutinated form.
