赛马饲料配方研究进展

Research progress of feed formulation for racing horse

饲料是赛马赖以生存和技能提升的物质基础,但由于赛马训练的严苛性和高强度,马匹平时的饲喂中青草较少,容易出现电解质、维生素及蛋白质缺乏等现象。因此,常规饲料配方的适口性差与营养含量低,成为制约赛马产业发展的重要因素。开发和探究新的饲料配方,则能够有效缓解常规饲料营养短缺问题。文章总结了近年来赛马饲料资源开发与营养价值评定相关的研究进展,以期为业内人士提供参考。

Feed is the material basis for survive and skill improvement of horse racing, but due to the rigorous and high intensity of horse racing training, grass is less in normal feeding, which is prone to electrolyte, vitamin and protein deficiencies. Therefore, poor palatability and low nutrient content of conventional feed formulation becomes an important factor restricting the development of horse racing industry. Developing and exploring new feed formulations can effectively alleviate the nutritional shortage of conventional feed. This paper summarized the research progress of horse racing feed resources development and nutritional value evaluation in recent years, in order to provide some reference for the industry.
