Frequency analysis in sandwich higher order plates imposing various boundary conditions

摘要 In this paper, the influence of various boundary conditions on the frequency response of three layered plates is analysed using higher order theory of shear deformation. The facesheets are laminated orthotropic composite based on Mindlin theory (or FSDT). Utilising method of energy and principle of Hamilton, the equations of motion are obtained considering continuity boundary conditions between layers. The mode shapes and frequency of the plate are calculated applying method of differential quadrature (DQM).
