The New Trend of Contemporary Scientific Explanation Research

科学解释问题是科学哲学研究的核心问题,通过对当代具有代表性和影响力的科学解释理论的分析与研究,可以发现当代科学解释问题研究出现了新的发展趋势,主要表现为三个方面:一是关注科学理解问题的研究,出现了从把理解看成是解释的副产品到认为理解是认知成就的观念上的巨大转变;二是对机制解释有了新理解,强调机制中的行动;三是注重科学解释实践方面问题的研究,越来越重视科学实践在科学解释中的重要地位,并且呈现出延伸断裂到各门具体科学中进行专业讨论的倾向。

Scientific explanation is a key problem in philosophy of science. We can find new trends of contemporary scientific explanation research by the study of contemporary scientific explanation theory with representativeness and influence,including three aspects: first,people begin to pay attention to the research of scientific understanding and there is a great shift from the concept of understanding as a by-product of explanation to the perception of understanding as a cognitive achievement;second,there is a new understanding of the mechanism explanation,focusing on the act in the mechanism;third,people concentrate on the research of practical aspects in scientific explanation,pay more attention to the importance of scientific practice in scientific explanation,and show the tendency to carry out professional discussions extended to various specific sciences.
