方法论实用主义的“真理观”

Methodological Pragmatism “View of Truth”

方法论的实用主义作为诸多实用主义形式的一种,它的形成是建立在整个实用主义不断地否定、继承和发展的基础之上的。当然,其"真理观"也会因为与其他形式的实用主义有所不同而存在着差异。相比之下,方法论的实用主义似乎能够更好地面对各种对实用主义的异议,为实用主义的发展提供了一条可行的路径。然而这种"真理观"同样也面临着另一个问题:方法论的实用主义打破了命题导向的实用主义真理的确定性,却又在众多的不确定性中通过普遍性来寻求另一种形式的真理的确定性。从这个角度讲,方法论的实用主义似乎并没有摆脱对确定性的寻求,它只是在普遍中建立一条比较适用的准则,因此它的"真理性"是值得怀疑的,甚至,如果在传统形而上学之外再无"真理"可言,那么,方法论的实用主义的"真理"便不能被称之为真正意义上的"真理"了。

As a kind of pragmatic form,the methodology of pragmatism can be said that its formation is based on the unceasing negation,inheritance and development of the entire pragmatism.Of course,their"view of truth"will also be different because of their differences from other forms of pragmatism.In contrast,the methodology of pragmatism seems to be better able to face a variety of objections to pragmatism,which provides a feasible path for the development of pragmatism.However,this"truth view"also faces another problem:the methodological pragmatism breaks the deterministic nature of the propositional pragmatic truth,but seeks another form of universality through the numerous uncertainties which is the certainty of the truth.From this perspective,the methodology of pragmatism has not got rid of the search for certainty.It just establishes a more applicable criterion in general.Therefore,its"truth"is doubtful.Even if it is beyond the traditional metaphysics.If there is no"truth,"then the"truth"of methodological pragmatism can not be called a"truth"in the true sense.
