The paper mainly expounds the influence of the development of 5G network on the transport network, and gradually analyzes the demand of 5G network development, the impact of 5G network on the transport network, and the characteristics of PTN transport network technology. Meanwhile, some feasible measures, such as perfecting the whole network structure, comprehensively optimizing the PTN network of WAN, and innovating technology, are discussed in depth. The purpose of this paper is to provide some reference for the relevant research.
