三维地形支撑的不规则动态水面模拟方法 被引量:2

摘要 在传统三维地形中,水面以纹理贴图的方式表示,该方法表示的水面是静态的,不能满足各应用场景对动态水面的需求,文章针对这一问题提出三维地形支撑的不规则动态水面模拟方法。该方法采用动态水面替换原有静态纹理水面,分析深水区与浅水区水面的波动模型,在水面边界的约束下以叠加Gerstner波的方式实现水面的动态效果,获得具有较好视觉效果的动态水面和与地形完美结合的场景。实验结果表明,该方法能够实现各种不规则动态水面,做到形状定制,且与三维地形完美结合,较大幅度地提升了三维地形中水面动态特征的表现力,增强了场景真实感,具有良好的用户体验。 Water surface is usually represented by texture mapping method in the traditional 3D terrain. Water is static by this method and therefore it can hardly meet the demand of dynamic water application. In this paper, a simulation method of irregular dynamic water surface based on 3D terrain is presented. The method first replaces the original static texture surface with dynamic surface;then analyzes the differences between the wave models of deep water area and shallow water area;and finally achieves the dynamic effect of water surface by means of Gerstner wave method under the water boundary constraints, and thus creates a better visual scene in which dynamic water surface combines perfectly with the terrain. The experimental results show that this method can generate and customize a variety of irregular dynamic water surface shape which has a perfect combination with the 3D terrain;it can also enhance the performance of dynamic characteristics of water in 3D terrain;in the meantime, it enhances the reality of the scene and offers a good user experience.
