The Twilight House is a renovation project of a small residential building located in one historic district of Shanghai. It adapts to the urban environment with a simple, neutral and harmonious appearance, while inserting several elegant details as modest highlights and signs of daily life. Such composite architectural aesthetic is a natural result of the architect’s career development.It also originates in the macroscopic characteristics and trends of Shanghai culture. It is a creative attempt for the future direction of Chinesearchitectural design.
