六朝佛教造像文与唐代“墓志铭”

摘要 "墓志铭"这种文体产生于南北朝,于唐代出现高潮。对这种文体的发展,学界偶有关注,然尚无从佛教造像文角度论述者。"墓志铭"在其载体、内容、功能及文体特征上与六朝兴盛的佛教造像文具有很大的相同性或相似性。南朝与北朝的佛教造像、造像文与墓志铭在数量上也成正比关系。佛像的佑护功能远大于本土碑文,在佛教本土化过程中,佛教造像文极大地推动了墓志铭的发展。 The epitaph style came into existence in the Southern and Northern dynasties and culminated in the Tang dynasty.There have been occasional concerns on its style in the academia,but it has not been discussed from the perspective of Buddhist imagery.The epitaph has great similarities with the style of Buddhist statues that flourished in the Six dynasties in terms of its carrier,content,function and stylistic features.The numbers of Buddhist imageries,Buddhist statues,and style of statues in the Southern dynasty are also directly proportional to those in the Northern dynasty.The blessing function of Buddha statues is far greater than that of local inscriptions.In the process of Buddhism localization,Buddhism statues greatly promoted the development of epitaphs.
