英语学习情感投入、自我效能感与学业成就关系

The Relationship of Affective Engagement with English Learning,self-efficacy and English Academic Performance

摘要 本研究采用定量分析方法考察了英语学习情感投入、自我效能感和英语学业成就之间的关系。研究结果表明:1)我国民办本科非英语专业大学生的英语学习情感投入、自我效能感与英语学业成就的整体情况一般;2)英语学习情感投入、自我效能感和英语学业成就之间存在密切关系;3)自我效能感在英语学习情感投入对英语学业成就的影响起着完全中介作用。本研究有助于学界了解“情感投入”在外语学习中的功能及作用机制,在一定程度上丰富了学习投入理论,也对外语教学有启示作用。 This study,via quantitative analysis,discusses how the non-English major private undergraduate college students'self-efficacy plays a mediating role between affective engagement with English learning and English academic performance.The result shows that:1)the situation of the non-English major private undergraduate college students'affective engagement with English learning,self-efficacy and English academic performance is just average;2)there is a close relationship among affective engagement with English learning,self-efficacy and English academic performance,and 3)self-efficacy plays an absolute mediating role between the affective engagement with English learning and English academic performance.This study will not only enrich the understanding of the role of affective engagement and its mechanism in foreign language learning,but also provide pedagogical implications for foreign language teaching.
