摘要
公元前200年至公元1500年左右贯穿欧亚大陆的贸易通道网络"丝绸之路"不仅发展了贸易,也促进了文化交流。各种宗教信仰、技术创新、科学思想及艺术活动从东方和西方分别流入中亚。同时,中亚自身在艺术及科学方面的成就也在欧亚大陆广为流传。全球化时代,中亚内部及其与欧亚大陆接壤地区的文化传承和文化边界正被积极地重新定义,有的认为应参照政治经济活动的格局或石油天然气管道的排布,有的认为应以语言、文化及宗教特征为划分标识,还有的则认为应将在中亚及世界各地的文化与社会之间所建立的概念性、象征性或隐喻性相关的价值观、信仰及行为作为准则。本文按照人类学研究范式,从文化地理、宗教传统、历史背景、社会环境等多个方面探讨了中亚音乐、艺术和文化特征,以游牧民族和定居民族为主要分析线索,将其乐人、乐器、乐种、乐风与乐事拼合成了生动多彩的中亚音乐景观。中亚复杂且丰富的音乐景观如具有生命的织锦那样,通过重复与变化无缝相接合成无限可能的图案,似曾相识但又令人兴趣无穷。
The Silk Road,an ancient network of trade routes across Eurasia in active use between 200 BC and 1500 AD,was not only a route for economic trade,but was also a channel for cultural exchange.Religions,technologies,ideologies and artistic activities flowed into central Asia from both the East and the West.Meanwhile,the achievement of Central Asian arts and sciences spread across Eurasia.With globalization,the cultural inheritance and boundaries of the Central Asian region and its border with Eurasia are being actively redefined.Some argue that the criteria for redefinition should refer to the pattern of the political and economic activities or the layout of oil and gas pipelines.Some deem that they should be classified by the characteristics of language,culture and religion;others think they should consider the conceptual,symbolic or metaphorical values,beliefs and behavior which were established between the cultures and societies of Central Asia and the rest of world.Based on the paradigm of anthropological research,this study investigates the characteristics of Central Asian music,art and culture from the aspects of cultural geography,religious tradition,historical background and social environment.By analyzing the music-makers,instruments,genres,styles and activities of nomadic peoples and sedentary dwellers,it depicts the vivid and colourful musical landscape of Central Asia.Through a process of repetition and change,the rich music culture of Central Asia creates numerous cultures that are both familiar and interesting.
