项目导向法视域下英国大学PBL教学模式对ESP教学的启示

摘要 2017年,专门用途英语纳入大学英语教学。该课程在教学的目标和内容上不同于通用英语。但由于课程开设历史短,适合该课程的教学模式尚在探索中。基于英国高校教学考察,可在教学理念、教学活动设计和教学内容上借鉴英国高校的PBL教学,用以构建合适、有效的ESP教学模式,实现学生用英语汲取专业信息和进行专业交流等课程培养目标。 ESP was admitted into College English in 2017. Owing to its distinction from EGP in teaching content and objectives, and its short teaching history in Chinese universities, proper methods for teaching ESP are still under exploration. With a study of British universities' teaching approaches, we find ESP in Chinese universities can gain valuable experience from British PBL on teaching concept, activities and content to form a proper and effective ESP teaching mode in order to achieve the course objectives and enhance students' competence in acquiring academic information and carrying out academic communication in English.
