Analysis of Wuzhishan Tourism Development Based on SWOT Framework

基于SWOT框架,运用"原真性"理论和主体功能区理论,分析发现近些年五指山市旅游业发展存在产品开发层次较低、交通不便、基础设施相对滞后等制约因素,面临海南国际旅游岛建立、生态旅游和大众休闲活动的兴盛所带来的机遇,同时也面对周边同类旅游目的地带来的竞争压力。五指山市旅游发展需要寻求自身独特性,兼顾互补性与差异性,并将主体功能区与自然保护区功能分区相结合,分化旅游产品开发方式,协调好资源开发与生态环境保护问题。

Based on SWOT framework, using the theory of authenticity and the theory of main functional areas, this paper points out that in recent years, the tourism development of Wuzhishan City has some restrictive factors, such as low level of product development, inconvenience of transportation, lagging infrastructure, etc. It is facing the opportunities brought by the establishment of Hainan International Tourism Island, the flourishing of eco-tourism and popular leisure activities, as well as competitive pressure to similar tourist terminations around it. The tourism development of Wuzhishan needs to seek its own uniqueness, consider complementarity and difference, and combine the main functional areas with the functional zoning of nature reserves, differentiate the ways of tourism product development, and coordinate the problems of resource development and ecological environmental protection.
