生态翻译学视角下汉语网络新词“厉害体”的产生与翻译

A Study on the Generation of Chinese Neologisms "Lihaiti(厉害体)" and Their Translations from the Perspective of Eco-translatology

生态翻译学以生物进化论中的"自然选择""适者生存"为理据,据此,汉语网络新词的生存与长效也是语言本身不断适应生态环境的求存择优、汰弱留强的过程。而在汉语网络新词"厉害体"英译过程中,译者要从整体生态环境出发,综合权衡与协调语言、文化、交际三个维度的关系,在不断的"选择性适应"和"适应性选择"过程中进行恰当转换,力求创造出"整合适应选择度"最高的译文。

From the perspective of eco-translatology,a theory based on "natural selection" and "the survival of the fittest" in evolutionary biology,the survival and sustainability of Chinese cyber-neologisms also undergoes a process of natural selection,in which the fittest will survive.In translating the Chinese cyber-neologisms "Lihaiti",the translator should keep the translation ecological environment in mind and weigh up and coordinate the relationships between the linguistic,cultural and communicative dimensions.Only by appropriate transformations in the process of constant "selective adaptation" and "adaptive selection" can the translator produce the translations with the highest "degree of holistic adaptation and selection".
