姚鼐集外诗文辑考

Collection and Research on Yao Nai's Uncollected Works

《惜抱轩诗文集》是目前所见收录姚鼐作品最为完备的集子。历年来,姚鼐佚文受到学者的重视,多有辑佚之作。笔者近日翻检家集、史料、谱志及相关拍卖图录、明清文人手札等文献,偶觅得姚鼐佚文六篇、诗三首。经查检,实为是集未收,其中序两篇、跋一篇、尺牍三篇、题画诗三首,可补姚鼐作品的缺失,对于考索他的交游与治学特点具有重要作用。

All works of Yao Nai were almost collected in the collection named XiBaoXuanShiWenJi at present. However, some scholars still work hard and pay attention on looking for the lost works which are out of the collection over the years. After searching documents including the records of Yao’s Collection, and relevant historical materials, local chronicles, records of auctions and the manuscripts of theMing and Qing Dynasty, etc., six lost essays and three lost poems have been found out.Those areone postscript, two prefaces, three letters, and three lost poems in painting, which are not collected in his collection.They are the essential documents to investigate the characteristics of his academic and social life.
