章太炎的述学理念与清季民初学术转型

Zhang Taiyan's Concept of the Academic Expression and the Academic Transformation in the Late-Qing and Early-Republican China

清季民初的学术转型,既包括了学术思想、方法的转型,也包括了述学理念、文体的转型,面对这样一个重要的历史契机,许多学者均在反思中国传统述学范式的基础上产生了自己独特的述学理念,而章太炎即是其中最具典范意义的一个。章太炎的述学理念,主要由两个关键点构成,一是由博返约,二是注重轨则。这两点均与清季民初学术转型的时代语境有着密切的关系。

The academic transformation in the Late-Qing and Early-Republican China includes not only the transformation of academic ideology and methodology, but also the philosophy of the academic expression and the literary style. In the face of such an important historical opportunity, lots of scholars have conceived their own unique concept of the academic expression based on the reflection of the traditional Chinese academic expression paradigm. Zhang Taiyan is a distinct representative among them. The philosophy of Zhang is mainly composed of two key points. The first one emphasizes on the pursuit of scholarship from extensiveness, profoundness to conciseness. The second one lays stress on principles and regulations. Both of these concepts are closely related to the context of the academic transformation in the era of Late-Qing and Early-Republican China.
