改革开放40年,也是我国口腔医学事业蓬勃发展的40年。国家和社会需要什么样的口腔医生,什么是口腔好医生,一直是口腔医学界探讨的热点。2018年8月29日下午,中华口腔医学会第五届跨学科病例展评总决选之际,"口腔好医生论坛"在上海拉开帷幕。出席论坛的专家就如何才能成为一名口腔好医生、如何才能做好口腔医疗服务达成共识:医者仁心,医路漫漫,一切医疗活动应以患者为中心,口腔好医生应该掌握扎实的医学知识、过硬的临床技能,具备良好的职业道德,拥有批判性思考能力,重视疾病预防,在诊疗过程中应始终体现对患者的人文关怀并充分沟通,终身学习、甘于奉献。与会专家与场内外听众就口腔医师的培养、医患沟通、患者教育与医学科普等问题进行了热烈讨论。这是又一次关于我国口腔好医生标准与实践以及未来发展的大讨论,必将助力我国口腔医学事业更好更快地发展。

There has been a significant development in China's medical technology and services of stomatology during the past 40 years of reform and opening up.“What kind of stomatologists are needed by the state and society”and“what is an excellent stomatologist”has always been the hot topic in the field of stomatology. August 29, on the occasion of Top Selection of The 5th Chinese Stomatological Association Multidisciplinary Case Show in 2018, opening of the“Excellent Stomatologist Forum”was held in Shanghai. Consensus on how to become an excellent stomatologist and how to do a good job in stomatological services has been reached. All medical activities should be patient-centered. An excellent stomatologist should have comprehensive medical knowledge, excellent clinical skills, good professional ethics, capability of critical thinking and pay attention to disease prevention. In the process of diagnosis and treatment, he/she should always take humanistic care of the patients and fully communicate with them. Furthermore, an excellent stomatologist should be lifelong learning and willing to give. A lively discussion was initiated on the training of stomatologist, doctor-patient communication, health education and medical science etc. This is an in-depth discussion about the standards and practice of stomatologist and the future development of stomatology in China, which will help China's stomatology cause to advance better and faster.
