Self-revolution and Keeping the Advance and Purity of Communist Party of China

勇于自我革命,善于自我净化、自我完善、自我革新、自我提高,是中国共产党最鲜明的品格。自我革命是保持党的先进性和纯洁性的必然要求,保持先进性和纯洁性是党的自我革命的根本规定。近百年来,中国共产党多次完成自我革命,不断实现自我发展,由小变大、由弱变强。坚持"变"与"不变"的统一,既保持党的先进性,又保持党的纯洁性,是近百年来中国共产党不断发展壮大的基本经验。自我革命使中国共产党走出了一条符合中国国情的马克思主义政党发展之路,丰富了马克思主义政党发展理论,为世界政党发展提供了中国智慧和中国方案。

It is the most distinctive part of our Party’s character to have the courage to carry out self-revolution and good at self-purity, self-improvement, self-development and self-innovation. Self-revolution is the requirement of keeping the advance and purity of Communist Party of China. Keeping the advance and purity is the fundamental rules in the self-revolution of Communist Party of China. Over the past century, the Communist Party of China has continually grown from weak to strong from small to big because of repeatedly completed self-revolution. Unifying the changing and unchanging, that is to say,keeping the advance and purity of Communist Party of China, is the basic experience of the Communist Party of China growing stronger in the recent hundreds of years. Base on self-improvement, we have found a right developing path in line with China’ s national conditions of Marxist political party which enriched and developed Marxist political theory and provided the Chinese wisdom and solutions to the foreign party.
