Shanghai Experimental School is an experimental and demonstrative school that follows the mission of exploring the intellectual potential of students and respecting the individuality and adheres to the concept of promoting advantages and tolerating disadvantages to make each child unique. Through tracking and recording students behaviors, thoughts, interests, advantages and potentials, the school explores and protects students potential and provides students with comprehensive support of time, space and resources to develop their advantages. The school also uses various evaluation methods to encourage students' full and free development.
