From Life to Stage:Studying the Transformation of Tujia Sayerhe from the Perspective of Intangible Cultural Heritage

撒叶儿嗬是武陵地区清江流域土家族人生礼仪的重要组成部分。作为丧葬仪式的撒叶儿嗬在历史变迁过程中不论是在仪式结构、功能还是在其所体现的社会关系等方面都发生了巨大变化,特别是在"非遗热"的背景下,撒叶儿嗬正在经历舞台化过程的嬗变,舞台化是"非遗"时代民俗变迁过程中值得关注的现象。

Sayerhe is an important part of the life ritual for the Tujia Nationality living around Qingjiang River basin in Wuling Mountaion area. As a funeral, Sayerhe has changed in the structure and function of the ritual,as well as the social relationship it reflects. Especially under the comtemporary national discourse of Intangible Cultural Heritage, Sayerhe is experiencing the transformation to the stage.Thus,stagelization is worth studying when the changes of folk belif happen in the era of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
