A Brief on the Development course of Basketball in China

篮球运动19世纪90年代诞生于美国,由詹姆斯·奈史密斯博士发明。20世纪初传入我国,此后篮球运动开始了在我国长达一个多世纪的发展,时至今日,篮球运动已成为我国人民最受喜爱的一项球类运动。篮球运动自诞生之初就确定了以"准确性"为核心的基本原则,经历了百余年的发展,篮球运动沿着追求"准确性"的方向不断发展,我国篮球运动的发展借鉴了西方发达国家的训练和教学理念。

Basketball was born in the United States in the 1890s and was invented by Dr. James Naismith. It was introduced to China at the beginning of the 20th century, which means that basketball has got developed in China for more than a century. Nowadays, basketball has become the most popular ball sport for Chinese people. Since the birth of basketball, it has determined the basic principle of “accuracy” which has always been the direction of its development in the following more than a hundred years. The development of basketball in China also draws on the training and teaching concepts in western developed countries.
