Current Situation and Characteristics of China's Investment in Russia's Far East

近十年来,中国不仅是吸引外资最多的国家之一,也是资本输出大国。但目前中俄投资合作水平与两国政治关系水平和贸易合作水平不相符。中国对俄主要投资方向依旧是矿产资源开发、森林、能源、贸易、通迅、建筑和服务业。为吸引外国投资,俄罗斯积极改善投资环境,但要达到2020年中国对俄投资120亿美元的目标仍有一定难度。

Over the past decade, China has not only attracted the most foreign investment, but also is a major exporter of capital. However, the level of investment cooperation between China and Russia is not in line with the political and trade levels of the two countries. China’s main investment direction in Russia is still mineral resources development, forestry, energy, trade, communications, construction and services. In order to attract foreign investment, Russia actively improves its investment environment, but China’s investment in Russia of 12 billion US dollars in 2020 is still difficult to achieve.
