双语教育包括双语文教育和采用双语方式教育两层含义,具有时代性、科学性、复杂性、传承性和世界性等特征。新时代民族地区双语教育,要以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导,使用先进的教育理论指导双语教育发展,要做好双语教学区域性差异、双语教育学科化、西南民族地区双语教育师资队伍建设、改革开放40年民族地区双语教育以及双语教育质量监测与评价等课题的研究工作。
