The Research on Yue Guang's Political Fortunes During Jin Dynasty

乐广以寒素之身,出仕西晋期间,其政治道路十分顺畅,并在八王之乱前期不断得到升迁,未因赵王伦废贾后事件而受到牵连,且在齐王冏执政期间代王戎为尚书令,位为台阁,政治地位达到顶峰。然而于此不久,乐广即被宗王所杀,其政治命运前后反差之大,反映出西晋政局的急剧变化。前人多从名士与玄学角度对乐广进行解读,很少涉及其仕途转变,本文试疏理乐广的仕途,并分析与其相关的史事及西晋政局的情况。

During the period of the Western Jin Dynasty,Yue Guang’s political road was very smooth,and he was continuously promoted in the early period of the Eight Kings’chaos. He was not implicated by Zhao Wanglun’s post-accommodation incident. During the reign of Qi Wangjiong,he replaced Wang Rong to be Shang Shuling and had reached a peak in political status. However,not long after this,Yue Guang was killed by Zong Wang,and his political fate was greatly contrasted,reflecting the dramatic changes in the political situation in the Western Jin Dynasty. Most of the predecessors interpret Yue Guang from the perspective of celebrities and metaphysics,and rarely involve the change of his career. This article tries to rationalize the career of Yue Guang,and analyzes the historical events related to him and the political situation in the Western Jin Dynasty.
