In order to more objectively evaluate the academic value of e-books and their usage rules, providing the reference for e-book purchase decision, grouping comparison, descriptive statistical analysis, scatter plot and Spearman correlation analysis were used to analyze 14 742 mathematical e-books from Springer platform with Bookmetrix indicators. The research showed that the downloads and citations indicators are relatively highly used, whereas other social media influence indicators are relatively less studied;that dducational textbooks have a big number of downloads, and academic monographs are cited more;that the number of Mendeley readers could reflect the academic influence of a book to a certain extent;and that new books have a relatively high downloadamount, whereas old books citation counts.
