This paper reviews the development of modern exhibition industry in Germany, and emphasizes that the design of convention and exhibition architecture needs to pay attention to the combination of functionality, economy and symbolism. Then introduces the design of Hanover Convention and Exhibition Center, Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center and Qingdao Red Island International Convention and Exhibition Center, and shares the ingenious cooperation of architects and structural engineers in the design process.
