The Translation and Research of Thomas Mann in China

托马斯·曼是20世纪最重要的德语作家之一,国内学界对其人其作的翻译和研究已有90年(1928-2018)之久。受中国社会政治大环境影响,托马斯·曼在中国的接受史可划分为三个阶段:新中国成立前(1928-1949);建国后三十年(1949-1978);改革开放四十年(1978-2018)。这里将对此三个阶段的研究状况进行梳理和总结,明晰托马斯·曼在中国的接受和影响史。

Thomas Mann is one of the most important German writers of the 20th century.It has been 90years for translation and research him and his works.Influenced by China's social and political environment,the reception history of Thomas Man in China was divided into three stages:before the founding of new China(1928-1949);30years after the founding of new China(1949-1978);the 40years of reform and opening up.This article will review and summarize the status of research in these three periods,and clarify the history of Thomas Mann's acceptance and influence in China.
