美国大学课外活动的价值观教育研究——基于对美国大学宿舍的考察分析

Research on Values Education of Extracurricular Activities in American Universities——Based on the Investigation and Analysis of American College Dormitory

课外活动是学生从课堂学习走向实践体验的重要形式,在美国大学价值观教育中发挥着重要的隐性教育功能。与学习专业知识的常规学院相比,学生宿舍是美国大学价值观教育的重要阵地,是开展课外活动的主要场域。在美国大学学生宿舍中开展形式多样、内容丰富的课外活动,能够有效促进学生在道德认知、情感认同、行为养成等方面的发展与价值观教育目标相契合。本文通过研究美国大学以学生宿舍为阵地开展的各类课外活动,探寻课外活动中蕴含的价值观教育内容,总结宿舍中的课外活动在学生价值观教育中发挥的重要作用及主要特征,为我国高校价值观教育提供启示。

Extracurricular activities are an important form for students to move from classroom learning to practical experience. They play an important role in the value education of American universities. Compared with conventional colleges that learn professional knowledge, student dormitory is an important position of value education in American universities and the main field of extracurricular activities. To carry out various forms and rich contents of extracurricular activities in the dormitory of American university students can effectively promote the development of students' moral cognition, emotional identity, behavior cultivation and other aspects in line with the goal of value education. By studying various kinds of extracurricular activities carried out in American universities based on students' dormitories, this paper explores the content of values education contained in extracurricular activities, and summarizes the important role and main characteristics of extracurricular activities in students' values education in dormitories, so as to provide enlightenment for the value education in Chinese universities.
