The National Childrerfs Art Exhibition held in Beijing in 1914 was the first nationwide arc exhibition in modern times. For Lu Xun, Chen Shizeng and some other important figures who influenced the Chinese art circle later all participated in this exhibition, the advaneed exhibition concepts and ideas of childrens aesthetic education reflected in it were regarded as a successful example of modern Chinese art exhibiti on. Starti ng with Lu Xun's work in the Min istry of Education, life and thin king in his early years, the paper reviews the 1914 National Childrens Art Exhibition according to its history and details and then the historical site is reproduced. Furthermore, the curre nt author makes an analysis of Lu Xun's influence on the exhibiti on as well as the historical value and practical significance of the exhibition.
