“中华学术外译项目”2010-2017年立项现状统计分析

A Statistical Analysis of the Funded Translation Project of the Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Academic Boutique from 2010 to 2017

文章采用文献法和统计分析法,对2010-2017年间立项的687项“中华学术外译项目”进行统计分析,从立项数量、文版语言、学科类别和项目负责人四个角度回顾了该项目的发展历程并剖析了可能存在的问题。研究发现:“中华学术外译项目”立项数量逐年上升,但仍需继续增长;“文版语言”以英文为主,小语种尤其是“一带一路”沿线国家语言有更大发展空间;学科类别多样,经济学、历史、哲学占主要,儿童文学、少数民族文化及中医文化相关文本可适当增加;项目负责人集中于一流高校和出版社,反映了“资本”的综合作用,日后的项目申报人应加强自身“资本”积累。

This paper,by adopting literature method and statistical analysis method,systemizes all the 687 translation projects successfully funded during 2010 to 2017,reviews the development history and analyzes the possible problems of the Translation Project of the Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Academic Boutique from the following perspectives:number of funded translation projects,language versions,discipline categories and the project principals.The statistics show that the number of funded projects has been rising steadily but it is far from enough;among the funded language versions,English dominates and other languages especially the languages spoken by the countries along the Belt and Road will be potential as well;the discipline categories are diversified,and economy,history and philosophy are the top three funded discipline categories,and children’s literature,the works of minority groups or regionalism and the Traditional Chinese Medicine can possibly attract more potential readers worldwide;and the project principals are mainly from first-class universities and presses,and they show some similarities in“capital”,which the future applicants should try to strengthen.
