Objective: To observe the clinical effects of Chinese medicine cupping combined with constant temperature fire-moxibustion on the clinical symptoms, microscopic changes of gastric mucosa and HP changes in patients of epigastric pain(chronic gastritis). Methods: 300 patients with epigastric pain were divided into treatment group and control group by random number table. The observation group was treated with Chinese medicine cupping combined with constant temperature fire-moxibustion on the basis of conventional western medicine treatment, while the control group was treated with conventional Western medicine. Four weeks later, the symptoms of epigastric pain, belching, acid regurgitation, poor appetite, changes of gastric mucosa in chronic gastritis and peptic ulcer and negative HP were observed. Results: There were significant differences in symptoms such as epigastric pain, belching, acid regurgitation, poor appetite, fatigue and changes of gastric mucosa under endoscopy between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05) Conclusion: Cupping of Chinese medicine combined with constant temperature fire-moxibustion can improve the clinical efficacy of patients with epigastric pain, and significantly improve the clinical symptoms of epigastric pain, belching, acid regurgitation, poor appetite and asthenia, as well as changes in gastric mucosa under the microscope. This method is simple to operate, exploit the advantages of nursing with traditional Chinese medicine, and is worthy of clinical application.
