This paper points out the difficulties faced by the mixed ownership shool-running in higher vocational colleges, analyzes its significances, and puts forward its development path. It is necessary to strengthen the top-level design, improve policy support, clarify the definition of property rights, and stimulate the enthusiasm of running schools. It is also required to optimize the governance structure, improve the management level, introduce competition mechanisms, better the allocation of resources, select partners, establish operational mechanism, strengthen system support, and enhance the talent quality.
