大学新生的情绪和行为问题:自我控制和应对方式的作用 被引量:3

Emotional and Behavioral Problems among Freshmen: the Contributions of Self-control and Coping Styles

摘要 该研究考察大学生自我控制与情绪、行为问题的关系以及应对方式的中介作用。采用《自我控制问卷》《简易应对方式问卷》和《成人自我报告》测量372名大一新生的自我控制、应对方式,以及焦虑/抑郁与攻击行为。中介作用分析结果显示:自我控制与焦虑/抑郁和攻击行为呈负相关;积极和消极应对在自我控制和焦虑/抑郁和攻击行为之间起中介作用且两者效应相当。总之,大学新生的自我控制与应对方式对其情绪和行为问题有较好的解释力,应对方式是自我控制与情绪、行为问题关系之间的一个作用机制。 The present research is aimed to investigate the relationship between self-control and the emotional and behavioral problems as well as the mediating effect of coping styles. 372 college students have answered Brief Self-Control Scale, the Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire, and the Adult's Self-Report, which assessed their self-control, coping, and anxiety/depression as well as aggressive behavior, respectively. Results of mediation analysis show that, self-control is negatively linked with anxiety/depressed and aggressive behavior at statistically significant level both positive coping and negative coping significantly mediate the associations between self-control and anxiety/depressed and aggressive behavior, with similar magnitude of mediation effect. In conclusion, the current research suggests that self-control and coping style can better explain emotional and behavioral problems and that coping style is a working mechanism in the relationship between self-control and emotional and behavioral problems among college freshmen.
