摘要
文章分析了英语辩论课上的同伴反馈内容、学生的辩论发言内容和课后问卷,探讨了学生的学习过程,考察了同伴评估对评估者学习的影响。研究发现,在辩论学习中,学生从对观点和证据的关注逐渐更多关注论证过程、辩论策略和反驳技巧。同时,由于同伴评估活动会引发反思、带来视角的转换,使评估者更易于从同伴的表现中吸取经验和教训,因而有益于评估者的学习,显示了评估即学习的本质。此外,学生在关注较多的辩论评估分项上进步幅度较大。
This article analyzed the content of peer feedback on speeches made in English debate class,with a course-end questionnaire,to examine the students’learning process and the impact of peer evaluation on the evaluators’English learning.It found that during debate learning students’attention to claims and evidence in arguments gradually decreased and more attention was given to reasoning,debate strategies,and refutation skills.It also found that peer evaluation would induce self-reflection and require a change of perspective,which enabled the students to better learn from their peers’performance,thus contributed to their debate learning.It shows that the nature of peer evaluation lies in learning,and the students made greater progress in the aspects that they paid more attention to.
