摘要
本文设计了一个SOA为200ms的快速启动范式的ERP实验,采用词汇判断任务考察藏族大学生英—藏词汇的连接模式。结果发现,对于藏语使用频率高且藏语也是英语学习主要媒介语之一的藏—汉—英三语者,英语词汇表征与藏语词汇表征直接相连;英语水平不影响词汇的连接。该研究认为,如果能适度增加藏语的使用频率,适度增加藏语作为英语学习媒介语的比例,藏语就能与英语更好地共享语义,并建立词名层的直接联系,母语编码方式就会提高英语学习效率。
In this paper,a fast priming ERP experiment in which SOA is 200 ms is designed.Lexical decision task is used to investigate the English-Tibetan lexical linking patterns of the mental lexicon of Tibetan college students.The results show that for Tibetan-Chinese-English trilingual speakers who frequently used Tibetan and took Tibetan as one of the main medium languages for English learning,the lexical representations of English words are directly linked to those of Tibetan words.It is also found that whether the subjects’English proficiency levels are high or not,the linking strengths are the same.The findings suggest that,for Tibetan-Chinese-English trilinguals,using Tibetan language more both in daily life and English learning will facilitate a better semantic sharing between Tibetan and English languages and establish a direct link between the lexical representations of the two languages;therefore,the mother tongue coding will improve the efficiency of English learning.
