The fluidity of the material is the main basis for the design of shunt hopper.The design key points of shunt hopper of bucket wheel stacker-reclaimer are introduced from the aspects of material characteristics,hopper geometry size and structure form.Then an example analysis of the accumulated shunt hopper is carried out,and the advantages and disadvantages of the hopper and its application range are summarized.Through the above research,the hopper structure is improved for the materials with poor fluidity.
