Broussonetia papyrifera as a kind of multi-functional and comprehensive tree species,has a wide adaptability,strong resilience and rich nutrition,and also has a broad application prospects in ecological environment restoration,pharmaceutical product development and protein feed preparation.This paper not only reviews the research progress on the biological characteristics,and chemical compositions in flowers,fruits,seeds,leaves of Broussonetia papyrifera,but also the application effects of its leaves as protein feed,aiming to provide theoretical reference for comprehensive research,development and utilization of Broussonetia papyrifera resources.
