Medical imaging-based analysis of breast cancer metastasis in medical records

目的:分析乳腺癌转移规律,为乳腺癌转移路径研究提供新的思路。方法:分析病历文本语句描述规律,以python作为处理工具实现部位所在短句提取,对人工抽取的乳腺癌部位名称进行术语规范化处理,分析其转移路径规律。结果:乳腺癌的主要转移路径为骨、肝、肺、纵膈淋巴结和与原发部位同侧的腋窝淋巴结。结论:乳腺癌早期转移会影响邻近组织(如淋巴结转移),判断是否发生淋巴结转移是预测患者远期生存率的重要因素。

Objective To provide a new idea for studying breast cancer metastasis by analyzing its metastasis rules. Methods The description rules of sentences in medical record text were analyzed. The short sentences describing the site of breast cancer were extracted from the medical records with python as a processing tool. The terminology of artificially extracted sites of breast cancer was normalized, and the rules of breast cancer metastasis were analyzed. Results Breast cancer metastasis was mainly presented as bone metastasis, liver metastasis, lung metastasis, mediastinal lymph node metastasis and homolateral axillary lymph node metastasis. Conclusion Breast cancer metastasis (such as lymph node metastasis) can affect its adjacent tissues. Lymph node metastasis is an important predictor for the survival rate of breast cancer patients.
