摘要
已有研究倾向于认为教师是中产阶层文化的代言人,是学校实现阶层复制功能的执行者。但较少实证研究结合教师的阶层出身及其在社会流动中的境遇来考察教师在学校教育再生产中所起的作用。本文结合两位就读于国内知名大学农家子弟的教育故事,发现教师因其劳动阶层出身和个人社会流动境遇而更能理解农家子弟的教育奋斗,其内在的"拯救情结"被唤醒并从经济资本、文化资本和社会资本等方面为农家子弟的教育奋斗提供支持,形成一种不同于阶层复制的"阶层效应"。
Previous studies indicate that teachers act as the representative of middle-class culture and the implementor of class reproduction in the school. However, few empirical research focuses on the complex mechanism of teachers in educational reproduction process taking accounted with teachers' class and social mobility. This study attempt to investigate instinctive education stories of two college students in world-class university in China. Findings show that teachers showed more understanding of students' educational endeavor because of their origin from working class and social mobility process. Teachers' internal 'rescue emotion' was awakened and supported working class students from the perspective of economic, cultural and social capital. Such a process formed a kind of 'class effect' which is different from class reproduction.
