In this paper, the problem of excessive oil spill from an air compressor of a diesel engine is taken as an example, the problem was finally solved by putting forward rectification objectives, cause analysis, design optimization and experimental verification. It also provides reference experience for solving the problem of excessive oil spill of similar air compressors in the market.
