中国丧偶老年人的居住方式和生活质量研究——基于第四次中国城乡老年人生活状况抽样调查数据

Living Arrangements of China's Widowed Elderly and Its Quality of Life:Based on the 4^(th) Survey on the Living Conditions of China's Urban and Rural Older Persons(2015)

文章基于第四次中国城乡老年人生活状况抽样调查数据,利用Stereotype Ordinal模型研究了不同居住方式下丧偶老年人的生活质量。实证结果发现:与已婚女儿同住的丧偶老年人能够获得最多的日常照料和精神关怀,幸福感最强,生活质量最高,其次为与已婚儿子同住;独居丧偶老年人的自评健康状况、经济状况和幸福感优于与未婚子女、孙子女同住,生活质量反而更高。研究发现保障不同居住方式下丧偶老年人的生活质量,关键在于完善居家养老服务和补偿家庭照料者。

Using Stereotype Ordinal regression model,this paper analyzes the quality of life of widowed elderly under various living arrangements. Empirical results based on the 4th Survey on the Living Conditions of China’s Urban and Rural Older Persons finds that widowed elderly benefits more daily care,emotional exchange,and quality of life from living with married daughters,followed by living with married sons. Living alone is even better than living with unwed children or with grandchildren. This paper holds that improving home-based care services for the aged and compensat. ing family caregivers are the keys in securing the quality of life of the widowed elderly.
