On the Inclusive and Unique Teahouse Culture in Chengdu

成都茶馆受百方文化之浸染,感浩荡时代之号召,经千年之演变,历诸家之考量,归于大成,成为古老而繁华的蜀城的一大象征。而朔本追源,从中国传统文化——诸子百家的不同学说、观念出发,可以再叩历史时空的大门,探索成都茶馆文化的本质,呈现独有千秋的巴蜀文化的重要横切面。

Influenced by a wide range of cultures and responded to the call of our times, teahouses in Chengdu have become a great achievement and a symbol of the prosperously ancient city after evolution from several centuries and evaluation from multiple schools. Moreover, proceeding from different theories and concepts of the hundred schools of thought in traditional Chinese culture, historical time and space, this paper probes into the essence of teahouse culture in Chengdu and presents a vital picture of the distinctive Ba-Shu culture.
